Sometimes the beautiful details on a prototype do not make it into production. The beautiful simple monogrammed fuel filler on the Bugatti 18/3 Chiron is an example of this. By the time the Veyron reached production in 2004 a flashy all chrome component replaced the understated painted one from the prototype.
